The Faculty of Architecture
The faculty of Architecture is a progressive and practice oriented faculty. During the studies students take an active part in real design and construction. The most popular projects are reconstruction of the main building of SUSU and its two extensions, the publishing house of SUSU, etc.
Research studies are conducted in the field of ecological architecture; theory and history of architecture; computer-aided architectural design; formation of environmental design, interior design; design and history of art; development of creation potential of students.
During the course of study students gain knowledge in the sphere of architectural design, principles of arrangement, history of architecture, town building and design, construction materials and building structures, computer-aided design, they also learn fundamentals of drawing, painting and sculpture. Our students are in-demand specialists at the labour market and get a job after the graduation. In most cases senior students start working during their study, since they get sufficient knowledge required for work. Best students are involved in the implementation of construction projects.
The Faculty of Architecture cooperates with leading universities from Australia, USA, Europe and Asia. There is a possibility to undertake international training. Best students have an opportunity to continue their study in well-known international architectural schools.
The lecturers of the faculty are highly respected and recognized in the world of Architecture.
