The Faculty was established on February 7, 2011 by the decision of the Academic Board of South Ural State University. Our graduates acquire thorough knowledge of:
- Information Technology
- Modern Mathematical Methods applied in Economics and Business
- Modern Techniques of Computer Modeling
Leading Russian and foreign experts in the field of Information Technology are involved in the teaching process. Among them are academicians and corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Sciences, professors of Moscow State University, Saint Petersburg State University and other Russian and foreign universities. There is one academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, one corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, 10 Doctors of Science and 24 Candidates of Science.
Bachelor’s degree programs
010300 Fundamental Computer Science and Information Technology majoring in Information Systems Programming;
010400 Applied Mathematics and Computer Science majoring in Mathematical and Information Support of Economic Activity
There are student places on state-funded and fee-paying bases.
Course duration: 4 years
A graduate gets a state diploma of higher education and obtains a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
or a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
